About New Irish Art Dot Com
NewIrishArt.com An Open Platform Since March, 2000
|
Since its launch on March 28th, 2000, the NewIrishArt.com website has pioneered the online presentation of original artwork of and about Ireland.
Operating as an open platform, NewIrishArt.com assists artists by leveraging Internet technology so that their work can be exposed to the largest audience.
Following research [2004/2005] into the way the Internet might benefit the arts sector in Ireland, the purpose of the website was refined as, to…
- increase the enjoyment of ‘visual’ arts.
- encourage participation in ‘visual’ arts.
Professional, amateur and emerging artists are equally supported and welcome to share the New Irish Art platform.
The idea is simple and the operation is performed with dedication and professionalism by the New Irish Art team.

Hi All,
We will have two Delivery Services trucks (fine art handlers) parked in the car park of IMMA, Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Saturday 21 August from 10am – 1pm for the intake of work.
* Framed works submitted in Dublin must be presented unwrapped (excepting shrink wrap).
* Canvases and delicate work should be presented wrapped.
* Please write your name and the title of work on the outside of the wrapping as our Delivery Services team will need to cross your name off their list.
* Labels must be attached at the back top right of the piece or tied to sculptural works.
If you do not have labels they can be downloaded from our website: http://www.royalulsteracademy.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/RUA-Labels1.pdf
* Delivery Services will leave the car park of IMMA at 1pm sharp.
If you miss this deadline then work can be delivered in Belfast on Sunday 22 August between 10am and 4pm.
Please note we have a new venue in Belfast for the delivery of work (see website www.royalulsteracademy.org ).
If you wish your work to be returned to Dublin after selection/exhibition please write ‘RETURN TO DUBLIN’ on the back of your piece or attach with a label.
Kind regards,
Irene

The venue for artists delivering work for the RUA Annual Exhibition on Sunday 22 August has changed from the Northern Bank to River House. This will also be the location of the RUA office from Tuesday 17 August.
While the main entrance to River House is on 48 High St, on Sun 22 August we will be using the back entrance on Waring Street only (10am – 4pm). To gain access you will need to go through the building carpark, the entrance to which is directly across the road from the Premier Inn Hotel and on the left of the RUA’s former office (or old War Memorial Building). We will have signage in place so you will know you are at the right location. There will be car parking available for the purpose of delivery only.
When you enter the building you will see a service lift to your left which you will need to take to the 12th Floor to deliver your work. The door to the lift measures 203cm(h) x 90 cm(w). Internally the lift measures 210cm(H) x 138cm(w) x 216cm(d) and has a weight capacity of 1600kg.
If your work is larger than the lift dimensions please call the RUA mobile on 07725316583 to make alternative arrangements.
To prevent long delays we would ask submitting artists to deliver their work during the following time slots (based on your surname) where at all possible:
A-D 10am – 11am
E-K 11am – 12.30pm
L-Q 12.30pm – 2.30pm
R-Z 2.30pm – 4pm

This painting has just been completed.
I was hoping to have it ready for an exhibition in June, but as you can see I’m not very good with deadlines!
