Have seen a few of your paintings recently and think they are super. Was wondering do you do commissions?

    Hi Maria,

I got this link through Thomas Sheridan’s FB page.
I don’t really have the right words to explain how your beautiful paintings made me feel. But I did say ‘Wow.’ a lot. They are really beautiful, expressive and excruciatingly complex in their simplicity. Do you ever do any posters?

    Lindsay

  5. Maria says:

    Hi Lindsay
Thank you so much for the lovely comments.
I only do one-off paintings at the moment but I’m toying with the idea of doing prints in the future.
I will definitely keep you in mind and contact you when I put together a selection to showcase.
    Kind regards
    Maria

    Hi,

I am not sure if you are aware of our website here at The Design Basket, which we recently re-launched, but here it is if you would like a look - http://thedesignbasket.com/.

We provide a platform for Irish Designers to sell their hand crafted and natural products. I was wondering if you would like to share a link to our website with your readers. We could possibly even do a guest article for your website.

We also have a blog where we feature Irish Designed Products and Irish Designer Interviews such as this one with Jenny Walsh:

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me,

    Thanks,

    David.

    Hello, Maria,
    Your art is stunning. I
I love your painting #34, The Elder and the Offshoots. As my Mother’s family name is Noonan — from Ireland to Newfoundland then to northern British Columbia in Canada circa 1907, we’ve always had ties to the old country.
Look forward to your Tweets, and seeing more of your amazing art.
Is painting Number 34 for sale?
    Sincerely, Margo Bates

  9. Brick Lane Gallery says:

    Hi Maria,
My name is Gabrielle Deeny I’m an exhibitions assistant at The Brick Lane Gallery in Shoreditch, East London. We are currently looking for artists to exhibit in our rentable gallery space and I was fortunate to come across your works online (I initially saw your name on http://www.newirishart.com). I thought your works were particularly strong, and of the right style that would suit our exhibition space. We are of course, always looking for something fresh and new to show at the gallery. I would therefore like to introduce you to The Brick Lane Gallery as a potential space to consider for your next project.

As well as our solo exhibition programme, our gallery team organises regularly curated group shows including CONTEMPORARY PAINTING which is a particularly good opportunity for emerging and international artists to show their themed works. This is a very popular group show that features a group of selected artists who we showcase to our gallery networks and audiences. We are currently researching for new artists to exhibit in our 2014 group exhibition between the 2nd - 15th September 2014 and believe your works could be suitable. Uniquely, the exhibition is fee-based, and no commission is taken on sales.

If you have been thinking about presenting your work in the most dynamic capital of the art world, do get in touch with either Lucy Fiddian-Green or Suzie Partridge on info@thebricklanegallery.com for further information. Otherwise we hope this email has, at the very least encouraged you in your practice and let you know that your work stood out to us!

We look forward to our future collaborations with you and wish you much success in your career.

    Kind Regards,

    Gabrielle Deeny
